Yes, ID (Identification) MUST be Presented at the Signing and Notarization. 
ONLY THE BELOW LISTED FORMS OF IDENTIFICATION WILL BE ACCEPTED.  
The Acceptable forms of ID are Government Issued with a Photo on the ID such as the following:
  • Driver's License
  • Passports
  • Non-Drivers ID, Like a State License
  • Federal ID
NOTE: THE BELOW LISTED FORMS OF IDENTIFICATION ARE NOT ACCEPTED:
  • Social Security Cards
  • Credit Cards with Photo
  • Club Membership IDs
  • Birth Certificates
GOOD NEWS NOTARY SOLUTIONS — FAQ
1. What if my ID is expired?
  • For legal notarization purposes, all IDs must be valid and current.
  • If your ID is expired:
    • I cannot proceed with the signing.
    • I will notify the hiring party (loan officer, title company, or signing service) immediately.
    • Deposits may be non-refundable if the appointment cannot proceed due to invalid ID.
    • Reschedule with a valid ID to complete the notarization.
2. Do I need witnesses for certain documents?
  • Yes, some notarizations require witnesses (POA, certain affidavits, estate documents).
  • Clients are responsible for providing witnesses.
  • If I provide witnesses, additional fees apply, and these will be listed in your invoice.
3. What is your cancellation/reschedule policy?
  • A Valid Credit Card is required to secure your appointment.
  • Credit Card will only be charged when Failure to Notify or Cancel appointment in time, or for the following reasons, IF:
    • Appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, or
    • Signing cannot proceed due to expired ID, unprepared signer, missing witnesses, signer(s) MUST be coherent, or other issues preventing notarization.
4. What if I need a rush appointment or same-day service?
  • Rush or same-day appointments are available for an additional fee.
  • Examples: Apostille requests, emergency loan signings.
  • Contact me as soon as possible to schedule.
5. Are travel fees included?
  • Travel fees are based on your location zone: Zone A, B, or C.
  • Travel fees are separate and included in your final invoice.
6. Are printing or mailing services included?
  • Optional printing, copying, and mailing fees may apply if additional documents or shipping are required.
  • All optional fees will be listed clearly on your invoice before the appointment.
7. How long will my appointment take?
  • General Notary: 30–45 min
  • Power of Attorney Signing: 45–60 min
  • Loan Signing / Closing: 60–120 min
